Can you believe it’s already March? Winter flew by, and the first two months of the year have been incredibly busy for us.
Since taking over JakeWear Shirts in 2025, we’ve been working nonstop to upload the entire JakeWear catalog to our online stores. At the same time, we’ve continued launching new Daybreak designs. This process involves everything from product photography and writing descriptions to assigning SKUs and optimizing listings.
Getting the perfect photograph is no small task — but we understand how important strong visuals are. On platforms like Etsy, high-quality photography can make all the difference. In many cases, we believe our product images outperform the competition, which gives us a real advantage. Beyond our own products, we believe our clients deserve professional-grade photos of their merchandise as well. If we print it, we should be able to present it properly.
Part of our long-term vision is expanding the media side of our business under Daybreak Media. This includes growing our podcast, YouTube channel, and eventually moving into live event production. In 2026, anyone has the opportunity to build an audience online — whether through podcasts, YouTube, livestreaming, or short-form content. Custom merchandise fits naturally into these ecosystems. Through our podcast and media platforms, we’re able not only to promote our own work, but also to give our clients a platform to market themselves. We don’t see ourselves as just another vendor — we see ourselves as advertising partners.
We’ve also started working with several new clients in 2026, including US Communications and Electric in Cleveland and Surface Solution Painting in Dunkirk, Ohio. US Communications and Electric is a large, woman-owned telecommunications company specializing in structured cabling and infrastructure for major institutions across the region. Surface Solution Painting serves industrial, residential, and agricultural clients throughout Northwestern Ohio. Both companies needed high-quality workwear for their teams, and we take pride in outfitting hardworking men and women in the trades. Durable, professional uniforms help crews stay comfortable and safe while representing their brand with pride.
We’re also working on an exciting project in The Flats here in Cleveland — more details to come in the months ahead.
As we move into Spring 2026, we’ll continue optimizing our online stores, expanding outreach for our custom shop, and preparing for this year’s live events. Our first major event of the season will be the 2026 Piston Power Show at the I-X Center in Cleveland. You’ll find more details later in this newsletter.
Thank you for your continued support. Enjoy your St. Patrick’s Day this year. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.
