Writing the lyrics and writing the song are two different things.

Writing the lyrics and writing the song are two different things. Often the person who writes the lyrics gets all the credit for “writing the song.” But anyone who has spent time around music knows there’s much more that goes into it. Bands can have three members or ten. Each one brings something different to the table. How many times have you listened to a song where one instrument completely takes over and defines the entire track? John Bonham’s iconic drum sound on “When the Levee Breaks.” Eddie Van Halen’s lead guitar part on “Eruption.” Colin Greenwood’s bass line on Radiohead’s “Where I End and You Begin.” Butch Vig’s engineering and production that made Nirvana’s album "Nevermind" sound the way it does. Great music is never just one thing. It’s the combination of many parts working together. The same is true in our business. A lot of apparel decorators get fixated on the perfect print and forget that great service involves much more than ink on a shirt. At Daybreak, we believe the print is only one part of the experience. Listening to our clients. Giving them space to share their ideas. Helping them think outside the box. Finding flexible solutions that work within their budget. There’s a lot more that goes into serving our clients than the perfect print. Just like writing the lyrics is only one part of writing a great song. Make it count.
